Hi Jrb,
As per your query what I understand is that all four of you are having rights in the property whereas only one lives in ther. Am I correct?
He wants additional rights in the property. Now what is his exact requirement? If he wants some additional share in the property, then rest of you three can quit claim your interests in the house to him.
But that depends entirely on you four.

Hi Jrb,
Welcome to MortgageFit Forums.
I think you are more clear with your query here.
One of your wife's brother lives in the house along with the parents. But, since the house has been quit claimed to all four of them so, all of them has their own share on the property.
I don’t think he will get any extra advantage due to his stay there. Consult an attorney if there is any problem.
God bless you.

I think under this circumstance if he pays all the taxes that may act in his favor. _________________ Need help choosing the right loan? Get free consultation from community lenders/consultant |
