By chance, missed the payment on one mortgage loan for the past two months with so many bills and mortgages over my head. I found that it has not been reported till now and this mortgage loan is not my report either. It's a new loan through refinance. Can I do anything now to stop them from reporting or are they going to report it as 30 or 60 day late?

Hi,

You can talk with your lender and request them to not to report it. You have to explain the situation under which this thing happened.

It is wise to talk with your lender. Has it been paid now?

It depends on the lender entirely whether to listen to your request. At least you can give it a try. Make the payments as early possible and then make a request.

Hi,

You should have taken care for the payments specially since you didn't have any problems with the money as I think. It will be terrible now to have it reported just due to negligence.

Anyways, now you can make a call to them and explain the situation and show them your willingness to pay the due amount soon. Perhaps they may accept your request but it entirely depends on them now.

Best of luck.

Regards,
Blue

If you have no past history of late or missed payments you may be able to successfully request that the servicing company not report the recent late. If you are actually two full payments down this will probably not happen per the companies own reporting guidelines will probably not allow such a change. Good Luck!
