HELLO,
I'M HOPING YOU CAN TELL ME IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO QUICK DEED A TIME SHARE BACK TO THE COMPANY. THE PROPERTY IS RIGHT TO USE AND IT'S IN MEXICO. WE WERE LIED TO BY THE RESORT AND CAN'T PROVE IT. WE JUST WANT OUT OF THE PAYMENTS. THEY ARE DIFFICULT FOR US TO MAINTAIN. wE OWN 30,000 ON THE TIMESHARE PLUS MAINTINENCE FEES.
SINCERELY,

ROSALYN GRISWOLD

Hi Rosalyn,

I can understand the problem that you are facing. I feel sorry for your bad experience with the property.

It is possible to quit claim a time share property back to the Company but I think the Company should agree for it.

In this situation it is best to consult a real estate attorney for advice and he will be able to help you with the proceedings. Don't worry; he will pull you out of the trouble.

Regards,
Blue

Can I file a quit claim deed on a timeshare not paid in full?

Hi Nita,

There are some problems in transferring a timeshare although it doesn't mean that it is impossible.

Some timeshare associations will just fall behind you to collect unpaid fees and even may report unpaid timeshare fees to the credit bureaus.

But some others are not so aggressive and will let you walk away. You can check up with the timeshare management whether a quit claim to management association is allowed without any adverse results.

It's better if you talk to an attorney before you approach them.
