looking for lender local

I am looking for a mortgage. Since I remain quite busy will it be appropriate to go to a local lender?

Hi Hugo,

Even if you are busy, try to look for all possibilities before you go for a loan. You may get a better option with a lender who is not local to you.

So, you have to take out some time to check that you are not losing anything while taking a loan from a local lender.

I understand that your busy schedule is compelling you to think for a lender local to you. But as in all similar cases, I shall suggest you too to take a little bit of your time and check for the opportunity with different lenders also.

You never know whether you are getting the best rates if you stick to your local lender only. Although it is a general tendency with all us, to approach the local lender but unless you check with others, you can’t be certain of his honesty.

Since he is local doesn't mean that he can't be dishonest. So, it is always better to verify with the others and make yourself assured to get the best rates and options. Today technology has made it even easier. Even you can make your search online and get your loan processed.

So, I shall suggest you to explore different areas before you decide on somebody. Since it is a crucial activity where your money is involved, I shall advise not to take anything granted.

Yeah, I shall look around for others too. What you said seems to be correct. Depending on the local lenders fully will not be a wise decision.
