The requirements vary with the type like self-employment, credit, equity or asset. If you require one then you must take the advice of a mortgage consultant who may properly guide you based on your needs. But you have to be prepared to pay higher interest in this type compared to fully documented mortgage. Lenders lower the rate for the borrowers with more documents. Hope this information will help.
