Can I get a loan to purchase a home with a score of 502? If so where?

Hi Zully,

Welcome to MortgageFit Forums.

With a low credit as 502 it is difficult to qualify for a loan with the best rates. But there are some lenders and loan programs designed to help people with poor credit. May be in that case you need to make some down payment. Don't worry and never lose hope.

As your friend, I shall suggest to keep trying to improve your credit score which I personally believe is possible for you.

If you still require a loan badly then you may sign up for free with us at http://www.mortgagefit.com/signup/index.html so that we can forward your query to the efficient lenders network that we have. This sign up and discussion is absolutely free of cost.

They will call you up and suggest you the best available options after discussing with you.

God bless you.

For MortgageFit,
Samantha

Hi,

Loans are definitely available for people with low scores under this competitive market although it may be little difficult to qualify for the conventional loans.

You will find a lotlenders offering loans for low scores but may be you will get them at high interest rates.

Hi Zully,

It is difficult to get a loan with a 502 however it's not impossible. There could be several different programs out there that would fit your needs. The downside would be rates would be high but you would be a homeowner. What I would suggest you do is to find a good mortgage broker/lender who is willing to work with you and point you in the right direction with fixing your credit and getting your credit to where you would need it to be.
