Geneva Roth Ventures is nothing but a loan shark company. If you have been harassed by them you need to file complaints with the FTC, BBB, Economic Crime Division in the states of Missouri & Kansas, FDCP and the Attorney General's office in Missouri & Kansas. Mr Bradley is impersonating an attorney and that's a federal offense. If you owe a legitimate debt it will be collected by legitimate means. It's also illegal to threaten criminal punishment for a civil matter and payday loans fall under contract law which is ALWAYS a civil matter.

I fell into that scheme of payday, however I am being harassed at work by a gentleman named Jackson Smith. I told him that I would take care of the debt, but I was threatened with Bank Fraud, Internet Fraud, that the feds would come to my place of employment to arrest me.
How can I get him to stop calling me at work?
I think you got an idea from the post by Charlotte that legitimate debts can be collected in a legal manner and it is not proper to threaten criminal punishment for a civil matter.
You may lodge a formal complaint with either FTC, BBB or your local Attorney General's Office against the harassment that you are facing. The person creating unnecessary problems for you must be taught some lesson.

I can understand the trouble that you are facing. In fact I have seen some of my friends in similar sort of situation.
The first thing I would like to tell you is that not to get worried by those threats. I don't know whether you are aware or not but, in some state these type of loans are flat out illegal.
Even if in your state it is legal then also, they will have to take you to court under credit/breach of contract statutes, which are not criminal matters.
My advice will be to consult an attorney and take his guidance into the matter. If possible try to pay them back. You may lodge complaints with the agencies mentioned already in the other posts.

If geneva roth has valid license then only it can be legal in Illinois. You need to check out with the Better Business Bureau regarding the company background.

reached a rep at an answering sevice 913-825-1200 on dec.12th 2006. Was told they have been removing the $150 each month from my 84 year old mothers account as an extension fee on a $300 loan. this amount has been being removed for at least 10 months without any money being applied towads the principal. have received no "extension Form" in her email as rep stated comes each month to geive opportunity to pay debt in full. Will be filing compalint and charges if possible. How could they take advantage of an 84 yr old woman... shame on them
