I am having a default divorce soon, my wife has left the country for more than three years. My wife is on the mortgage and is a co borrower on the loan. I wish to be the sole borrower and have the deed in my name. What language in the divorce should be used for the judge to consider this.
Thanks

Since divorce laws differ by state it would be best to consult your attorney. _________________ Lynnette Phillips

Just use plain english. Use absolutes, like "shall, will", avoid conditionals, like "should, could". _________________ Disclaimer: This is not legal advice and I am not your lawyer.
