I listed my home recently for less than what I owe..."Short Sale". I owe 160,000 on the first and second. I recently signed an offer for 100,000, with 3 mos. until closing date. My realtor has told me I should stop paying my mortgage and my second mortgage. The reason for me wanting to sell my house is the payments are too high and I have been living off my credit cards. Another reason, is that I paid close 180,000 for it and it's worth only 100,000. I don't want to continue living off my credit cards and end up having to file bankruptcy. My credit score has always been great...very proud of it being in the 700 range. I have not heard much from my realtor since I signed the offer, other than an email telling me to ignore all calls from my lender and to not pay. Well, I felt very guilty and ashamed, so I paid 2 months worth of my payments to avoid being 90 days late. I am current until the end of this month and I tend to continue paying. My realtor is irate with me that I paid and told me I can be taken to court for failure to perform. The last thing I want to do is ruin my credit with foreclosure. Is it true that I am in trouble now for paying? They won't accept the offer if I am current so I broke the contract? That really bothers me if it's true.

Re: Looking For A Stated Purchase Loan In FloridaNo, they are not looking for a loan for their current primary residence they will be renting it out. Borrowers are looking for a 90% LTV stated loan for the property they are interested in purchasing and living in it as their new primary home. Thanks
