FHA LOAN LIMITS

I read in another thread on this site that with the recent stimulus package FHA loan limits in some areas have been increased. Where would one find those areas?

I don't know where the list will be available but you can find out the FHA loan limit in your county and state from https://entp.hud.gov/idapp/html/hicostlook.cfm .

i don't believe that fha has revised their information yet - i just checked on connecticut maximums, and they remain the same.

all limits have increased to $271,050.
HUD has 30days to update these limits from when Bush signed the Act.
HUD will determine which areas is going to be high cost, and which are going to be low cost. We have to wait for HUD will use for Area Median Prices (AMP)

maybe so in your neck of the woods, banker (and charlotte is great!); but in connecticut we already had limits over $300K, so i suspect they are still higher

sounds like you're in a high cost area...which your limit can go as high as 729k
