| First Home Mortgage Corporation was founded in November 1990 by President and Chief Executive Officer, Dave Waters. The company began with two offices and a handful of employees dedicated to a common vision; to stay local and be independent. With an experienced support staff, leading producers and the fundamental base of established relationships in the local community, the company quickly grew to a financial institution of 20 offices, serving 12 states. Over the past 18 years, the company has grown to 175 employees, and has been voted one of the “Best Places to Work” two years in a row. First Home Mortgage Corporation is a licensed full service mortgage lender, providing processing, underwriting and closing for mortgage on properties in Virginia, DC, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania (licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Banking), Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and West Virginia.
