Hi,
Will a lender finance property if it has a mobile home on it. I am looking at 2.6 acres of land that has a single wide mobile home on it with a 3/2 wood/brick frame home that is livable, but needs some fixing up.
Thank you

I assume it's the 3/2 SFR you are actually looking to live in? I think the answer is most likely yes depending on how the property is appraised. Most appriasers would probably not even assign any value to the mobile home on the appraisal in which case you shoudl be fine. _________________ Chris Burns

Hi masmith,
If you have a clear title to the property, have a good credit score and fulfil other eligibility requirements, there is no reason why the lenders will not refinance your property with a mobile home on it. Why don't you consult this with the community lenders and ask for a No Obligation Free Mortgage Quote from them? I believe they can help you in this regard more than what I'd be able to do. |
