My now husband bought a home before we were married, what do we need to file to include my name into now that we are married?

You will have to ask your husband to sign a quit claim deed and include your name on the property deed. Once the deed is filled out, get it recorded at the county recorder's office.

Would we have to have an attorney fill out the quit claim deed and file it? If we are able to do it ourselves does it cost money to obtain and record this quit claim deed? Thank you very much for replying to my question!
