Hello Angie,

Welcome to the forum.

This is really a good decision. In such cases, there remains at least one savings to bank upon at times of financial hardship.

Hi Angiedeangelis,

Welcome to our forums.

It's good that retirement proceeds are protected from bankruptcy. After all, people deserve to keep their money with them so that in future they can utilize it for steady cash flow. And, after retirement, they do need money to mainatin their usual lifestyle and pay for their healthcare. So, that's a good thing in all.

Good luck to all retirees
