He is the only one on the mortgage, but we put my name on the deed. He has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and I want to make sure I am not responsible for the mortgage. As your name is not on the mortgage, you will not be responsible for the payments of the dues. As he has filed the bankruptcy, its his credit which will be affected and not yours.
