Both of them are deceased with 10 and 8 years. I have been paying the taxes even before they passed away. How I eliminate their name from the deed? Once the home is deeded into your name, and you can show 12 months cancelled checks for payment to mortgage or taxes, then that demonstrates a vested interest in the property and you would be able to refinance the loan.
