I am on the deed with my parents on a Florida property. Both of them are deceased with 10 and 8 years. I have been paying the taxes even before they passed away. How I eliminate their name from the deed? I have one sister not interested in the property

If there was no will and no probate, then you would file the affidavit of heirship with a title company in your area, or an attorney. Once the home is deeded into your name, and you can show 12 months cancelled checks for payment to mortgage or taxes, then that demonstrates a vested interest in the property and you would be able to refinance the loan. Good luck

Hi tcambara,

You will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name.
