Now I have to do "deed-in- lieu" When I call the Bank which department should I ask for and how should I proceed? I lost my job 1 mth ago, and now I ca'nt pay motgage anymore. Thanks, Bessie

You will have to write a hardship letter to the lender and convince him about the problems you are facing. If he accepts your hardship letter, the lender will inform you and according he will tell you about the next steps you need to take in this matter. Thanks
