I just purchased a property in florida - when placing the offer - I did it in my personal name and it was accepted. At the time of the hud documents - my Canadian lawyer advised me to place it in my corporate name for ease - as my children are listed on company - in case of my death - turns out this was poor advice - I purchased less than a month ago and now find out the witholding tax for corporate is 35% rather than individual 10%. I am trying to correct this mistake and be listed personally on title as per original offer to purchase. I bought the property for personal use - to later transfer to my children? Can this be corrected without paying additional fees

Welcome lamont,

You will have to contact an attorney in this regard and he will be able to guide you in this matter. However, I don't think you will be able to do this free of cost.
