I am trying to purchase a home in the state of florida. My divorce was supposed to be final but it will not be final before my closing date. I have already qualified for an FHA loan. Can I still close without my spouse's signature with the FHA loan. I was told that he has to be liste on the deed until the divorce is fial ut not be on the mortgage _________________ Need help choosing the right loan? Hello;
I would talk with the title company that will be doing the closing for you. They have legal people on staff or by retainer that can answer this question. I would not trust any answers given in a forum since this is a legal matter.
Hope this helps!
