My Mother passed away in 2008. She owned a condo in West Palm Beach, FL. For the fist year and a half, I paid the mortgage. I was added to the deed about four years ago but never to the mortgage. I was trying to have the property assigned to my name at an affordable payment, but i have been dealing with BOA and they lost all the original paperwork when they bought CWide and won't deal with me. Know BOA has hired an attorney for foreclosure. I have read some of the notes below, but this attorney is threatning and saying my credit is going to destroyed. I am not on the mortgage and the condo is way upside down and I don't have the cash to pay. Any suggestions on what to do??

You need to speak to a real estate lawyer. But as I understand it if you are not on the mortgage or note they cannot come after you. This is not legal advice just my thoughts on the issue.
