I am in Florida. My home loan went into foreclosure 02/1/09. The mortgage company said that on 05/3/09 they will place the home up for foreclosure sale, but they could not tell me how long from that point it would be before the house actually is sold or a date for auction is scheduled. I want to know how much time after they place it for foreclosure sale on May 3rd do I have before I have to vacate.

Welcome Guest,

Once the foreclosure sale is complete, the lender and the new buyer will give you a 3 day notice period within which you will have to leave the property.
