My daughter is buying a condo and putting me on the deed as co-owner just in case something happens to her.Would she be able to claim full exemption if I allready claim exemption on my home ?

In my opinion, it will be difficult for your daughter to get a homestead exemption if you are on the property. As you are already claiming a homestead exemption, there are chances that she may not get the exemption.

My spouse and I have been living in separate residences for a year. We each pay all our utilities separately, he pays his own rent while I pay the mortgage. Neither of us have anyone else residing in our respective properties. If one of us should purchase a home would we both be able to claim Homestead exemption for our own property? He has had a formal lease agreement for a year and wants to buy his own condo as opposed to continuing to rent.

Welcome to forums!

As far as I know, the homestead exemption can only be claimed by the person who owns the property. Moreover, the property should be his/her primary residence as well. I don't think, both of you will be able to claim the homestead if he purchases the property.
