My husband and I have a joint title on a proprty in florida. But Loan is under my husband name.
I have a property in california as a primary residence in solely under my name.

If my husband wants to leave the florida property would the bank come after the equity in my california home.

Hi DOLLY,

Your name is not mentioned on the mortgage docs of the property located in Florida. Thus, you're not personally liable for the mortgage dues. In that case, the lender won't be able to come after your California home to recover the dues.

Thanks
