Hi;
my wife andI live in Florida. She has a full time job making about $35,000 a year i hav a pension of about $600 a month. We recently let a single wide mobile home go back to the lender because of financial problems. The lender has alredysold the home for about $22000 less thatn what is owed on it. my wife and I can't aford to pay the remainder. My question is can the lender attach my wife's wages, my pension ,or our bank accounts?
Thank you

Hi lou!

Welcome to forums!

If the property deed included both your wife's name as well as your name, then the lender can garnish your wife's wages or your bank accounts. However, the lender will not be able to garnish your pension. However, in order to garnish the wages or the bank account, the lender will have to get a judgment against you from the court.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
