I need to know if I do qualify as a first time home buyer in the state of florida because I am divorced and now remarried?

Hi teamdaka,

If you have not owned a primary house for the last 3 years, you can qualify for the first time home buyer tax credit. If you are married, both you and your spouse have to be first time buyers. If you file joint return, your modified adjusted gross income should be in the range of $150,000 to $170,000 to qualify for the tax credit.
