I filed a quit claim deed on a florida property, but continued to live on the property paying all bills including taxes, insurance, mtg, and repairs.

My father passed away and 1/2 interest is in my father's estate. Should I be entitled to a % interest as part of the estate, even though I filed the quit claim deed? thanks

Welcome tj,

If you have already filed the quitclaim deed, then legally you won't be able to claim any interest as a part of the estate. You can always have a word with your real estate attorney in this matter in order to know more.
