However the mortgage has been in my name for 2 years. My soon to be ex-husband owes the IRS and they are saying a levy will be placed on the house where he has no financial obilgaitons or has even lived in for 8 years. If he transfers the property to you, then the IRS won't be able to come after the property. Thanks
