My parents are considering retiring in Florida. Dad owns property in NY and mom in Baltimore. In order to ensure their property interests are carried out, they have considered adding their five children to the deeds. Is a quit claim deed the best option for easy transfer and maintenace of the property. Both properties currently have mortgages.
