'I live in Orlando, Florida. My (mentally unstable) husband of over 2 years and I purchased a condo toghether. I signed a quit claim deed to the condo a couple of months back so the condo is not in my name anymore. He threatened physical harm to me or himself if I hadn't. He had an episode and left the home last week. Today I answered the door and a woman told me that i had to leave the condo unit because he quit claimed the condo and put it in her name. I was so mortified! Neither one of us has even filed for divorce. Is this condo now hers? Can he do this? Do I have any rights to the condo or am I going to be out on the street with my kids. (Kids, from my first marriage.) '.

Hi Amira,

As the condo was in your husband's name, he can transfer the property to someone else. In that case, you'll have to leave the property. However, you've mentioned that your husband is mentally unstable. In such a situation, you can take legal help and try to get back the property. You should contact an attorney and he will guide you further in this case.
