My son is living in our 2nd Florida condo. Can I have his name put on the deed with quit claim and have him qualify for the homstead tax reduction?

Welcome jr,

I suppose you can add your son to the property deed by quitclaim. Are you on the title too? Once your son gets legal title, he will be able to claim homestead tax exemption. heck out for details from the Florida dept of Revenue at "http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/property/exemptions.html" .
