I am selling a florida timeshare. I do not live in florida and the purcharser does not live in florida. We are preparing a quit claim deed and I read that it must be notorized by a florida notary. Seems like a very restrictive requirement.

Hey parkerm,

As the property is located in Florida, so the property deed has to be notarized by a Florida based notary and the deed has to be recorded at the county recorder's office where the property is located.
