how to transfer

we live in canada and my dad has land in florida that is paid for and taxes up to date. He wants to transfer the land to me. It's in port labelle, how can we get quitclaim deed done from here and sent to the county records office?

Hi acampbe

As far as I know, you and your father will have to come down to Florida and transfer the property in your name. You can get sample quitclaim deed forms online but you will have to notarize and record it at the county recorder's office where the property is located.
