I was trying to buy a foreclosure in Florida. The contract stated "The property is subject to a on (1) year Right of Redemption starting from the foreclosue sale date of 5/24/2010 if the subject property is located in the state of Alabama.

So is this just for Alabama or for property in florida. Cool

Hi wee wee!

Welcome to forums!

As the contract mentions about Alabama, I don't think the right of redemption will be considered as valid in Florida. Nevertheless, you should contact the lender and clarify the matter.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
