My mom died 2 yrs ago and no one will pay the property taxes or anything else, so I have 9 siblings that was on the deed now only 8 of us are there. My brothers have totally destroyed both properties has not paid any taxes, maintence, insurance, or even kept the lights and water on. I want to pay the taxes there is no mortage. However, 3 brothers have abandonded the property and now drug addicts are living on the property friends of my brother. Is there anyway to get those people off the deed (siblings) they have damage the property very badly and do not care if the state take it over and feel they should get money. However, they were given 5,0000 from the estate and lived free for 2years and did absolutely nothing and I am stuck with the bills and up keep. The property is not habital and will take thousands to repair at least 200.000. I need to get them off they will not sign off. What can I DO Florida property. Help someone please!!!

Welcome Guest,

You will have to ask your siblings to sign a quit claim deed in your name. Once they sign a deed in your favor, you would become the owner of the property. Then you'll be able to ask the others staying in the property to move out of it.

MAD. I hope your having good luck. Maybe you can still make a deal with your "deadbeat siblings." Maybe you can say if they sign a quit claim deed, you (siblings) will get 5% when you sell the property. Good luck.
