My husband bought a house before we got married. His parents and he is on title. Can a judge in Florida state ask for my property as well incase he is asked to pay difference in a foreclosure

Hi Ali,

Florida is a separate property state. In such a situation, as your name is not your husband's mortgage, the lender won't be able to come after you in order to collect the balance dues resulting from the foreclosure sale of your husband's property.
