Hi ansprayers,

Welcome to Mortgage fit,

In order to qualify for reverse mortgage....

one should be

1.minimum 62 yrs of age.
2.should be living in the home on which you wish to take reverse mortgage.
3.you should outrightly own the home or else should have very low balance on the mortgage which can be paid off with reverse mortgage payment...

These are the requirements to qualify for the reverse mortgage..If you fit in those requirements..You can contact this phone number (800) 569-4287 for online HECM Counselling..You will get further information related to reverse mortgage over there....

Feel free to ask any further query if you have.....

So far you qualify, but there's more to it then that. Your manufactured home must reside on a HUD-approved permanent foundation. If it doesn't, you can have one installed and pay for it from the loan proceeds, at funding. A Civil Engineer will inspect your foundation, and let us know if it qualifies. Since you're on 7 acres, you may have a well and septic system too ... which need to be reviewed too.
