I live in FL were 2 witness signature are required on a Deed.
An ex-friend of mine is a broker and I found he was in the business of scamming homeowners in foreclosure by convincing them to sign over quit-claim deeds and giving lease /buy back options. My research shows that all of these deed do not have 2 witness signatures. On 1 deed there is 1 witness signature that was forged (my name!). on two others the only witness signature was the wife and the other was the mother living in the house. The attorney general does't seem to care about the fraud but a total of 6 families lost their houses in this way. Would a lawsuit cloud the title and help them to recover homes or money. |

Hi mark!
Welcome to forums!
The 6 families who had lost their homes due to this fraud should immediately contact an attorney and discuss their options with them. They can definitely file a lawsuit against the broker.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
