After the foreclosure if you owe anything to the lender he can claim a deficiency judgment and may put a lien on your other properties. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions. Hi Missy, Legally no lender can take away another property owned by the borrower in default due to foreclosure on one property. Both answers here seem plausible, but I would think in order for them to put a lein on anything they would have to obtain a judgement, which would mean taking you to court and suing you. Have you talked to the company that plans to foreclose? See what their intentions are? goodluck, hope this all works out to your benefit.
