Our home is being sold at auction. If the sale goes through how long do we have to stay in our home after the sale? Can we live here during the redemption period? How will I know it has been sold and will they deliver the paperwork to me here to me at the property that is being sold?

Hi jlthomas,

If the property is sold at a foreclosure auction, you would get a eviction notice from the lender. You would get a stipulated time period to leave the property. You need to leave the property within that time period.

Thanks
