Can i still file for bancruptcy and keep my co-op after the sheriff foreclosed two days ago ,i answered the credit counseling form and was given a number . Thanks Al

Hi richcola,

You can file bankruptcy even after a foreclosure. You haven't mentioned what was foreclosed on. Was it your home or the co-operative business that was foreclosed? In case your co-operative business has already been foreclosed, there's no way you can get it back by filing bankruptcy.
