Chase assigns mortgage to Real Time Resolutions

Posted on: 22nd Apr, 2009 12:05 pm
hi, i had my mortgage with chase home finance and haven't made a payment in a year to them. i went through the loan modification merry go round with them to no avail. about 3 months ago i recieved a notice from real time resolutions of dallas texas who state they have taken over the mortgage. they seem to be a debt collections agency. chase claims they have charged off the mortgage and i'm wondering what real time can do? it's not a second mortgage its the original. i live in michigan and my understanding is foreclosure is as far as they can go. i've been in mortgage limbo for a year. any advice?

RT Resolutions countered my short sale today at full ammount of the balance. I think they are crazy there. I think it is about time to start reporting these guys, especially after new guidelines came out in August from the Treasury Department.

Hi klady,

If your debts had been assigned to Real Time Resolutions, then they would collect the dues from you. As far as I know, they are a collection agency. Once they contact you, you will have to negotiate with them and pay off the dues. If you do not pay the dues, the collection agency will have the rights to sue you for it.

Thanks

I have been working with a rep at RTR for many months now on my 2nd mortgage. They are a legit company and they will work with you IF you actually speak to them. I cannot speak for all of the reps that work there, but the girl I work with has been nothing but respectful and helpful.

Hi ed klein,

If the loan was originated by Countrywide, then you will have to contact them and get the details. They will be the best to help you in this regard.

Thanks

ed klein, you're barking up the wrong tree. mortgagefit is not a lender and therefore would have no interest in holding mortgage loans.

We bought (and lost a home). Our loan broker told us we were getting an 80/20 loan but that we'd make one payment and it was just like a normal loan. We had TMI (or PMI) insurance. Apparently IT WAS 2 different loans and the auction amount only paid off the 1st one. The second smaller one was sold to REAL TIME SOLUTIONS and they are threatening to have my wages garnished. I feel we were mislead and wondering what to do. The house was auctioned off 2 years ago and they just popped up out of the blue.

Hi,

Aurora serviced a first and second loan for me. I let the house go to forclosure and FANME now owns the home. The second was transferred to REal Tme Resolutions (about $18k).

Can they freeze my bank account?
Any advice on how to avoid collections or settle?

Tks,
Ishtar
