I have been separated from my spouse for two years. I left our residence in NH and moved to Florida. My name is NOT on the deed to the house. Am I responsible if the bank forcloses? He is trying to sell to one of those "we buy any home" companies and the want to put me on the listing.

Hi gnulife,

You are not on the deed to the house. But are you on the mortgage? If you are on the mortgage, you will be responsible for the foreclosure. But if you are neither on the deed nor on the mortgage note, your credit will not be affected by the foreclosure.
