Hi,

Did you sign the mortgage promissory note? If you didn't, you are not responsible for the mortgage and hence your credit should not be affected by the foreclosure. But if you signed the promissory note, you are responsible for the repayment of the mortgage debt. In that case, your credit will take a hit due to the foreclosure. You can contact the lender to know if the property has been foreclosed and sold off at an auction.
