How do I protect myself from paying gas after I moved from foreclosed building. I dont have acces to the building to close the line and I know someone is using gas. Gas company told me that my name will be on account until they cut the gas.

it is really funny.but at the same time you can show them the documents pertaining to the foreclosure and tell them about the fact that you do not owe anything pertaining to the property.

As your name is there on the account I think you should try to close it as immediately as possible before the balance piles up.
