I bought a Foreclosure home. How do I know for sure 100% if this property has no lien or debt against it?

Hi,

You can check with the county recorder's office if there is any lien on the property. It would have been helpful if you had done a title search before purchasing the home. It might have cost you a few dollars, but you could have known if there's any lien or cloud over the title to the property. You can also purchase a title insurance policy to protect you from any loss that might arise out of any defect in the title in future.
