Does my homestead exemption help me when the lender forecloses my home?...I heard that at foreclosure the lender is not allowed to totally
clean you out if you have homestead. I do, and i have a condo
in miami beach.
Anybody knows about this?

Homestead exemptions are available on primary residences and it also helps you in saving your property from forced sale by the creditors. You can contact a lawyer and check out your options.
