My home was sold without informing me of forclosure.

Like 0 Dislike 0 does a mortgage com[pany have to inform you that your house is up for sale before they sell it. I was not ifnformed the mortgage company was selling my home. I had not made payment in over 6 months but still wondering If by Law they have to inform me of forclosure? any information would be appreciated. Thank you

I believe they have to have proof that they tried to notice you. Even if they could not, they must attempt 3 times, but I am not a Lawyer. If you feel your rights were violated, I would hire a lawyer.
