does a mortgage com[pany have to inform you that your house is up for sale before they sell it. I was not ifnformed the mortgage company was selling my home. I had not made payment in over 6 months but still wondering If by Law they have to inform me of forclosure? any information would be appreciated. Thank you
They have to notify you of the foreclosure not the sale. Once the foreclosure is complete, the home is theirs to sell.
They did not notify me of the foreclosure. I did not know it went into forclosure.
Were you living in the house at the time? Did they have your current address? I believe they have to have proof that they tried to notice you. Even if they could not, they must attempt 3 times, but I am not a Lawyer. If you feel your rights were violated, I would hire a lawyer.
