How do I find out what kind of mortgage my in laws got? They tried to force my husband to sign one with their names already on it. Pre dated pre notarized papers. It was suppose to be a buyout. It seems to be a refinancing instead. On the douments my husband was a seller and a buyer not just a seller. We have the corrected documents. Are the ones they recorded valid?

golden, you've already addressed this situation in another post. please don't repost your question - it will only cause confusion, after all.

I feel title search will help you to find if there is any lien on the property and then if there is any you can contact the bank.

Have you consulted with an attorney yet?
