We're expecting a promotion on his end in November that could move that to $60,000. For rural Georgia that's comfortable living for our area. My credit score at the moment is 640. That's the middle score. We've found the house we want (with a few modifications) and would like to have it built next April. It was built at $180,000. The only negatives on our credit reports is one of my private student loans. The loan officers did not do as we agreed upon when I was on maternity leave which lead to a big 3 month mess that we haven't recovered from yet. Our student loan debt is the only enemy we have.
