| Does a lawyer have to prepare the quitclaim deed in GA or can I do it myself and get it notarized? I am out of money - having had to pay both legal fees in my divorce. |

Hi Bobby!
Welcome to forums!
It is always better to take the help of a lawyer in order to draft a quitclaim deed. However, you can even get hold of the sample quitclaim deed forms and use it to transfer the property. Once you sign the deed, get it notarized and recorded at the county recorder's office.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
